How much clearance for Pontoon interior guide posts?
What is the recommended clearance for the inside vertical guide posts on a pontoon? Mine seem quite far from the pontoons, with the result that The Boat doesn’t always settle centered (parallel) onto the trailer support bunks when loaded, e.g. windy conditions. I also assume all of them should be the same.
On all my trailers I have them just touching the side so the boat is forced to center as the pipes should roll when U guide the boat up the trailer.If U leave to much space the boat will bend the poles out as far as 5″ which make the boat to far to 1 side.
