How much should it cost to detail a boat?
I have been detailing for about 7 years now and have been requested to detail a 22-24′ boat up at a lake 1.5 hrs from me. All gas costs and what not are being compensated. What they want me to do is go through the whole boat and detail it, vacuum, buff and compound/wax it, and pretty much go as in depth as I can. How much would going rates for Boat Detailing be for something like this, any help is greatly appreciated! I don’t do boats often so this would really help. Thanks a lot!
I charge $30 per ft. This includes a complete compound and wax with all the deck fittings off, paint touch-up on the outboard or I/O, and a “super clean”, including the engine and bilge. This usually take about a full day on an 18-20′ boat.
